September 2012? Where did the Summer go? I am thankful that I can still remember the days of Summer from my childhood. Many memories feel as though I just happened a few weeks ago. I mentioned to a friend that it seems just like yesterday that I was sitting in front of the tv watching last Summer's coverage of The US Open Tennis Championships.
I've mentioned and said it before but as a kid, Father Time was a good friend - now I'm not so sure! Actually, aging isn't too bad. Of course I say that today - not sure what my response will be next week or next year. Stick around my Blog and I'll be shure to update my feelings and this whole age stuff from time to time. I do know that I've aged quite well as opposed to many friends and acquaintances that are my age or younger. I am in love with my Soulmate. I have good friends in my Life. I can still walk and run (well, I can't quite run yet but I know I'll be tearin' up the road soon!). I have a full set of hair on my head and I always am eager to start a brand new day each morning. I could go on and on...
While on my way to the gym, I gave a listen to Eva 95.5 - The Valley's Old School. Karyn White's 'The Way You Love Me' played and all the memories from the Summer of 1988 came to mind. That was an incredible Summer. Yes, I'm so very blessed.
