I love the Christmas Holidays. I love spending time and catching up with good friends and loved ones. My social calendar is usually always full but I'm well known for canceling at the last minute. I do inform others that I usually will confirm at the last minute. I seem to enjoy staying at home lounging on my couch and watching movies and sharing time with my Cockatoos than to head out during the week. Christmastime changes all that.
It's also well known within my inner circle that I LOVE spending time at home during the Holidays and enjoy 'romantical' moments watching all the Christmas theme movies on The Hallmark Channel.
Training for the 2013 New Year's Race Los Angeles has been challenging. I'm a morning person and love to run early in the mornings before most people start their day. This race starts at 9pm so I'm having to train and run during the evenings. I try to take part in as many scheduled evening group runs as possible. I did quite well last night so I believe I'll do OK. Training during this time of the year also ensures that my figure should remain a Size 6! Between the training, diet regiment and the social mixers/parties, it's a huge help. I want to look my best and I gotta admit, I love the compliments.
Running keeps me grounded. I am usually the slowest one to complete groups runs. I'm thankful to have friends and running partners that encourage me to just run. So with that, I just run. When I run, I mediate and enjoy Conversations with God and Angels. I love when the mechanics of running are on my side and my body and legs ease into a state where my mind takes over. I am thankful on so many levels. Be thankful. Give Thanks.
