The above video is poweful. It's a story about the Human Spirit. Stories that would seem to be a perfect script for a Hollywood Drama - only this story is true. This story means a great deal to me because I'm involved in a domestic partnership with my Soul/Life mate. I'm thankful that both of our families full are aware of where we stand as far as our partnership. We have legal papers and wills in place so that nothing can 'come between us'.
It's no secret that Rodan and myself have no interest in marriage. We both believe that God would not want us to marry one another. Yes, this is our personal choice. We do believe in the right for same sex partners to be given the right and choice to marry. Any way, this isn't about my or our opinions on this matter. I view this video clip and think about those that are in relationships but fail to take the necessary steps to protect your loved ones in the event that something happens. Love means doing everything possible to protect the ones you love. So do all you can so that your loved ones won't suffer because various legal and financial matters weren't taken care of or resolved. Tomorrow may or may not come for many of us...but don't take that chance with your loved ones.
