So happy today was a short work day. I was eager to get out and do an easy run or attend a boot camp session at Underground Fitness. Since Monday's class was rougher than rough, I decided to go for an easy run and enjoy the perfect 58 degree weather early this afternoon.
It's going on three weeks that I've now been running without music. How did that happen? The music was actually messing with my internal timing so I would have to turn down the music completely and realized that I would go miles and miles without sound. So I just decided to do away with the music and just let myself 'get lost' while I run.
Today I had a wonderful Conversation with God. So many things I need to get off my chest with the Almighty One. The Spring atmosphere while running brought a certain joy. Running has served so many purposes in my Life. It's helped me keep the weight off, allows me to really think and face issues I would only push to the side any other time and I make time to pray & carry on Conversations with God.
I am ready to enjoy a cozy evening at home. I'm ready to cook dinner as I listen to my Randon Play on the sound system. I'd say today has been a great day.
