I've been looking forward to this little toy/gem in my Life. I absolutely love Sony's camera and video products. When I became more active in the outside world, I wanted a little camera that was lightweight and easy to maintain while running and hiking. While doing research, I became intrigued with the Flip camera. About a week later, the makes of the Flip camera decided to shut down production as well as technical support. Sony's Bloggies began to make a splash and I purchased a Sony Bloggie Touch (MHS-TS10/S) - 4 GB, 2 Hour (Silver). This camera was perfect. It was far better than the cameral on my cellphone and I no longer had to worry about accidents with my Sony Cyber-shot cam.
If you follow my blog, most of my outdoor pics and those listed within the 'PicsOnTheRun' category weret taken with this camera. Only thing missing on this cam was a flash of any sort for pics taken in low light. That all changed with Sony's upgrade to it's original Bloggie camera, the Sony Bloggie Sport (MHSTS22) Waterproof Video Camera with 4x Digital Zoom. It's a rugged camera of the earlier model and waterproof (operational limit down to about 16 feet)...and in Red!!!
I was expecting to arrive tomorrow but it was waiting for by the time I arrived from work this afternoon. So I had to take an initial picture using the 'LED light for low - light shooting situations'. The first Sony Bloggie came with it's own program download. This camera works with the Sony PlayMemories Camera Application. So the above picture was the first test shot. There's not much I can do about the Subject but after a bit of adjustments to the lighting of pic, it's not all that bad! I'm quite excited about adding this little baby to my upcoming adventures. I will continue to write updates about this camera and it's video capacities with future use. Where Xavier goes, so will my new Sony Bloggie Sport Camera!
