It's been a glorious Sunday morning. Cuddle time with my babies. Coffee and newspaper in bed. I attended Mass yesterday afternoon so that I could enjoy a quiet morning today. My body feels pretty good after a 12 mile run yesterday. I didn't do as well as I hoped but that's OK.
For the most part, I've never really trained as intense or ran as many miles prior to a race as I have since my last half marathon. I did not like the feeling of not being prepared for a race. It seems almost a waste and I don't want to feel that anymore. So I decided not to enter as many races and focus on those I do run. I feel like I'm well prepared for my next race. Only issue I have with this next race is that it starts at 8am. I'm hoping it's a cool day because I wilt under the Sun. I'll just have to push through and do it.
I'm in the mood to go out and shop but I'm far too lazy for that. I'm in no mood to deal with crowds or people I don't know. Heading out to see a movie sounds ideal but then again lounging on the couch reading seems to be what my head is thinking. Time to return to bed and lounge for a bit before I get the day started. Enjoy Sunday!!!
