I feel as though today has been in slow motion from the moment I woke up. Allergies didn't help nor did the allergy medication...so today has just been a blur. The drive home from work was rather nice. It rained the whole time. I did manage to go to the gym and run 4 miles on the treadmill before heading home. I thought I should get a few miles in before a 10K race in the morning. I was looking forward to this race and now I find myself rather 'blah' about it. I'm shure I'll perk up minutes before the race. I hope it doesn't rain because I'm not really in the mood to get dirty or wet!
The last thirty minutes of work were rather slow. I was surfing about on the internet and came across the new that Valerie Harper was Diagnosed with Terminal Brain Cancer. I grew watching The Mary Tyler Moore Show & Rhoda. I know that actors and actresses are in the same boat as the rest of us but I completely starstruck with certain celebrities. In my heart, many are immortalized and I only remember them from their glory days on the golden screen and on television. For as long as I live Valerie Harper will always be remembered. Valerie, thank you so much for all the joy you continue to bring to myself and millions of your fans - May the last days of your Life be filled with peace & love.
I made a huge pot of Fettuccine & Italian Style Sausage with homemade Alfredo Sauce. I plan to enjoy a bowl of carbs, cuddle with my litte feathered angels, and head early for bed.
